Aibota — Data Deletion Instructions
Last updated: 21 October 2026
Aibota is operated by ALDIS PETROSOLUTIONS LLP (BIN 180140006651), 34 Kanysh Satbayev St., apt. 56, Atyrau, Republic of Kazakhstan. This page explains how to ask us to delete your data. See also our Privacy Policy.
Deletion is done manually, on request, within 30 days. The Service is in closed beta and has no self-service "delete" button for contacts, conversations, or accounts yet.
1. If you wrote to a business on WhatsApp (End User)
The business you wrote to decides how your messages are used; Aibota only processes them on that business's behalf. The quickest way is to ask the business directly.
You can also ask us. Send an email to privacy@aibota.me (emails to this address are forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing to our Google Gmail mailbox, where they are kept for as long as they are needed to handle your request) with the subject "Data deletion" and tell us:
- your WhatsApp phone number, with country code;
- the business you wrote to (its name and the WhatsApp number you messaged);
- that you want your data deleted (or only a copy of it).
We may ask you to confirm that the number is yours (for example by replying to a message from that number), so that we do not delete someone else's data. We will inform the business and delete your contact, your conversations and messages, the files you sent (voice notes, images, documents) and the text derived from them, and the bot's execution records that contain your messages. We will confirm by email when this is done.
2. If you have an Aibota account (Customer or staff member)
Write to privacy@aibota.me from the email address of the account.
- Delete my account: we delete your account, your sessions and your personal profile data. If you are the only member of a workspace, tell us whether the workspace should be deleted as well.
- Delete the whole workspace (requested by the workspace owner): we delete the workspace with everything in it: contacts, conversations, messages, files, flows, agents, knowledge base, connections (including the encrypted WhatsApp token), usage records, and the accounts of members who belong to no other workspace.
Before deleting a workspace we may ask you to confirm the request by email, because it cannot be undone.
3. What is deleted
- Contacts, conversations, messages, hand-off notes and "read" marks;
- files from object storage (voice notes, images, documents) and the transcripts, image descriptions, recognised text and document text derived from them;
- records of bot runs that contain the person's messages;
- for a workspace: also flows, agents, knowledge base (including vectors), connections, bot variables, usage records, invitations, and member accounts that belong to no other workspace.
4. What may remain after deletion
We tell you plainly what we cannot remove at once:
- Technical event queue (Redis). Raw incoming WhatsApp events are kept in a queue with no time limit; it holds roughly the latest 100,000 events and older ones are displaced by newer ones. A deleted person's event can stay there until it is displaced.
- Usage counters (Redis). Pseudonymous contact identifiers used to count monthly active contacts expire by themselves, up to 70 days. After the contact is deleted these identifiers can no longer be linked to a person.
- Service logs. They are limited by size, not by time. They are designed not to contain message text, but may contain technical identifiers (for example IP addresses or request paths) until they are rotated out.
- Temporary database backups. If a temporary backup was made before maintenance, a copy of the deleted data may remain in it until that backup is deleted — no later than 7 days after the maintenance is completed.
- Copies we do not control. WhatsApp/Meta and the End User's own device keep their own copies of messages. If voice, images or text were sent to OpenAI for processing, OpenAI keeps them under its own terms; see https://developers.openai.com/api/docs/guides/your-data. Emails we sent stay with the email delivery provider and the recipient.
- Data a business moved elsewhere (for example through an HTTP request, a database query or an email that it configured in its flows) is under that business's control.
